Distinguished Order of the Servant Leader Award
This award is given to any student or Georgia Military College employee who demonstrates outstanding selfless service by completing 100 hours of volunteer service during a calendar year. Bryan Bass was awarded the Distinguished Order of the Servant Leader Award in October 2009 for completing over a hundred hours of community service at a local hospital.
Iris Musgrove, pictured on the left, was awarded the Distinguished Order of the Servant Leader Award in May 2010 for completing over a hundred hours of community service throughout the community.
Phi Theta Kappa, an honor society, members may be nominated for the All-USA Academic Team, which awards a scholarship to the students selected for the Academic Team. Being selected as a member of the Academic Team is based on outstanding academic performance and service to the college and community. Kyle Sisco was honored at the 2010 Phi Theta Kappa honors lucheon, where he was selected as an All-Georgia Academic Team honoree. |
